Marco D. Britt is an associate with ARHM&F practicing in the areas of international, corporate, taxation, and banking law, with a particular focus on cross border mergers and acquisitions and international taxation.
Mr. Britt is a graduate of the University Of Miami School Of Law, where he earned both a Juris Doctor and an LL.M. (Masters of Law) in Taxation. While in law school he was an active member of the Tax Law Society, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. He also served as Community Service Committee Chairman and Historian for the Hispanic Law Student Association and 1L Liaison for the International Law Society. Mr. Britt was also awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship (2005-2008).
In addition, Mr. Britt earned both a Master’s degree in International Business and a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in Economics (International Track) from the University Of Florida Warrington College Of Business Administration. While attending business school, Mr. Britt was awarded the first Alan Epstein Memorial Graduate Scholarship (2004-2005) and became inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society and the Omicron Delta Epsilon International Economics Honor Society. He also actively participated in the Theatre Strike Force Improvisation Club.
Before entering law school, Mr. Britt worked for various large multinational corporations in both Italy and the Principality of Liechtenstein. During law school he interned for the Honorable Antonio Arzola in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida County Court, Criminal Division. Before joining ARHM&F,
Mr. Britt worked as an International Policy Practice and Lobbying Intern for one of the largest law firms in Florida.
Mr. Britt is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida. He is also a member of the American Bar Association.
Mr. Britt is fluent in both Italian and Spanish.
